Hi there, and thanks for thinking of sponsoring me!

I'm a researcher @3ainstitute - that's Autonomy, Agency, and Assurance, at the Australian National University. I spend my time there reading, thinking, talking, and teaching about what's happening as we embed sensing, learning, communicating, and acting computers in everything else. Everyone's talking about cars, but what about medical devices? Trains? Elections?

My open-source work aims to help everyone write better software, lately by making testing easier and much more effective. I'm a core developer of Hypothesis (and some extensions) and a Pytest maintainer. On the side, I've spent 2019 trying to get the scientific stack to adopt property-based testing, with some small successes!

I often speak about testing at conferences - for example a practical intro to Property-Based testing at PyCon US and an expert deep-dive on 'Sufficiently Advanced Testing' at PyCon Australia. There's also the hands-on workshop version.

Sponsorship funding helps me to cover the costs of stickers, pins, posters, and web hosting to get the word out; as well as travel for conferences (Australia is a long way from anywhere, even New Zealand). Every bit helps - so thanks!

@Zac-HD

Knowing that there are five people out there who like my projects enough to sponsor them would mean a lot to me!

There are cheaper ways to get my attention - get in touch and we can discuss custom training, consulting options, etc. Or just throw the money at me, buy a week or two of my time, and I guess we can work out the details later πŸ˜‰
