So you want to contribute to the Lenses project? AWESOME
Here are several suggestions to help you get started.

Step 1.) Plan

1.1 Familiarize yourself with the Lenses web app

Visit www.makelenses.com.
Create a Lens. Explore Lenses components.

1.2 Review the Lenses [Component List] (https://github.com/lenses/lenses-react/wiki/Lenses-Component-List)

This page lists Lenses components that have been completed or are currently in development. The Component List provides users with a directory of Lenses components that can be connected to the Lenses App via the 'Add New Component' button, and is an important part of our shared documentation efforts.

1.3 Check out the component Planning Pages

Each section of the Component List contains a planning page. On the Planning Page, you can 'Claim a Component' or simply review ideas for component development. Feel free to add your ideas by editing these pages.

1.4 'Claim' a component for development

After reviewing the Component List and Planning Pages, choose a component that you would like to develop. Let us know about your project by claiming it.
To Claim a Component:

1. Add your component as entry on the Component List Page
   [component name](link to your component's Planning Page entry)(development status)

2. Document your component in the appropriate Planning Page by:

• Copying the 'Claimed Components' template
• Pasting the template text to the Claimed Components section
• Filling in the template with info on your component and development plans
