Hi,
I wrote this quick hack that translates from the linear scale to a logarithmic scale, which gives more space for fine-tuning on lower sound levels without hampering high sound levels.

I'm no C# dev. Sorry if its a bit messy and I don't expect it to be merged like this. But it should give an idea of what I mean with logarithmic scale.
