Especially useful for disambiguation. I've found myself relying on Tweets to propagate and disambiguate when an artist produces a song for a product, and the name is very generic/common.
Exemple: searching "from:wontak_ djmax" on Twitter search to see if there's any announcement related to the product so we can confirm which of the many "TAK" may be responsible for contributing to https://vgmdb.net/album/130092 (https://twitter.com/wontak_/status/1661715540812124161). Then you could just search the Twitter field for "wontak" on Advanced Search on VGMdb to double check if the artist actually is in the db.
