[BUG] Xbox One Controller - Left thumb stick sends both its input and the dpad's #508

Describe the bug

  1. Launched my remote session with chiaki-ng.
  2. When using the left thumb stick, most actions are duplicated because it's also sending the dpad's input.
  3. If in a game, actions from both the left thumb stick and dpad will happen simultaneously
  4. This only happens with the left thumb stick, from what I've tried

Debug Log
chiaki_session_2024-12-18_16-20-55-898898.log

Expected behavior
Left thumbstick should not also act as a dpad

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Version 23H2
  • chiaki-ng Version 1.9.3

@Droppisalt that sounds like either a default mapping bug in SDL or a bug in SDL. Can you try going to the controller mapper in the Controllers section of chiaki-ng and check the dpad mappings? If the dpad has another mapping you can overwrite it from there.
