We develop Typst, a markup-based typesetting system that is designed to be as powerful as LaTeX while being much easier to learn and use. We started Typst as a hobby project in university and somehow ended up here. The Typst language, compiler, and its web app are in very active development while we get feedback from the community and continue improving things. 🪴💻
