I'm Pavel Císař, and I live in Prague, Czech Repubic.

I work primarily with Python, and most (but not all) my open source projects are related to Firebird Project.
My domain of expertise is development of tools and frameworks for others to use.

Most notable projects are:

  • Python driver for Firebird, and extension library with useful parsers for various Firebird server data (log, trace, gstat, metadata, monitoring tables etc.).
  • firebird-base is an extensive Python library of support modules used in other projects. Includes contextual logging, trace, advanced collections, configuration management etc.
  • Saturnin, Saturnin SDK and Saturnin CORE are implementation of Firebird Butler platform and services in Python.
  • Firebird QA tools.
