shackspace has a RIPE Atlas Probe performing realtime internet measurements.

It might be of use (especially for online and open status) to correlate with the availability of internet.

API Documentation can be found here.
The shackspace probe is ID 20808, a sample API query can be found here.

Relevant section is:

    "status": {

    }

Status IDs:

  1. never connected
  2. connected
  3. disconnected
  4. abandoned
