Hello,

First of all, thank you very much for this pytest plugin. Having everything in one place makes the work much easier.

However, I would like to know if there is any particular reason why no new release has been generated in almost two years, as this directly affects the version available for download from PyPI.

Additionally, considering that there have been several merges since the last version and that the milestone for version v1 has already been completed, are there plans to publish a new release soon?

Thanks a lot!

Hey there 👋 Thanks for reaching out!

You are absolutely right: a release is wayyy overdue 😩
There is a plan, and it's actually quite close! The main reason it's taken so long is that the next release will be 1.0.0, which will include breaking changes (not really for most users, only for consumers of the plugin "machinery"). There's 1 more breaking change that I've had difficulty writing tests for.

I will make a better effort to get the release published in the next couple of weeks (before Thanksgiving may be tough, but certainly before the end of the year).
