What is the bug or the crash?

When I disconnect my pc from the dock and thereby from the large screens, the QGIS window is reduced in size, and the rendering of the GUI is adjusted. When I attach the pc to the dock again the window is refittet, but the rendering of the GUI remains in the small layout and all functionality is missing. There are no menus or buttons to be found. The only way to proceed is to close QGIS.

I have not tried a new profile, but since I have other colleagues experiencing the same issue, I doubt that it is related to my profile.
