@bharathi6396, thanks for reporting. Please provide the WMS URL and connection options. Does the issue also occur using the Data Source Manager? |
Hello Andrea,
Here are the elements requested:
Post install logs: file attached

For info: I downloaded the version 3.34.13 & added above wms url by

@bharathi6396, I cannot replicate the issue running QGIS 3.34.13 by OSGeo4W on Windows 10: just following the provided steps and adding the WMS connection with URL https://data.geopf.fr/wms-r/wms?VERSION=1.3.0, the WMS layer are correctly listed without any error. Is QGIS on your system able to connect to any other Internet resource (e.g. the OpenStreetMap XYZ tile layer)? If not, is your system connected to Internet through a Proxy? Please try if the issue does occur also using a new QGIS user profile.
You will also find useful to use the Debugging / Developers Tool panel https://docs.qgis.org/3.34/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/general_tools.html#debugging-development-tools-panel in order to debug the connection issue. |

This means the issue is not about adding a WMS layer, but about the connection to Internet. Please try using a new QGIS user profile. It looks like strange that in your QGIS user profile the processing and grassprovider core plugin are not active. Can you access an Internet resource using a Web Browser? Can you access an Internet resource using any other software on your system? Is an antivirus/antimalware or firewall installed in your system? If yes, please check if they are properly configured in order to let QGIS connect to Internet. Please provide any error message logged in the Log Messages panel https://docs.qgis.org/3.34/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/general_tools.html#log-message-panel You can use the Debugging / Developers Tool panel https://docs.qgis.org/3.34/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/general_tools.html#debugging-development-tools-panel in order to debug the connection issues. |
What is the bug or the crash?
Steps to reproduce the issue
tab : wms/wmts
