Qbit seems to have an issue with torrents stored on a sleeping NAS. Would like to have the option to have Qbit recheck torrents on a timer to give the NAS drives a chance to spin up. Perhaps an option to recheck until found on certian times intervals.

If a NAS is not able to wake up in time then it is faulty or offline. I would look into issues with the setup not the accessing software on this one. Force recheck is used to make sure that the files are in the right order and are all available. It is not a solution to a slow NAS. You want to look into an HDD access delay setting somewhere.

Yeah, its true that I let the disks spin down when not in use. I'll take your suggestion to heart but another torrent program I used to use never had this issue. It rechecked the torrents after a while. Qbit just sais missing files and I have to manually start them. No way around that on qbits side?
