Blue Background

Every .pdf opened has a blue background when scrolling or going full screen.

Zathura was installed on Fedora40 via 'sudo dnf install zathura'. Not sure this would make any difference but my window manager is Herbstluftwm which uses X11. Here are a couple screenshots of the issue.

Have you tried setting the background color yourself in the zathurarc file.

In ~/.config/zathura/zathurarc I have:
set default-bg #222222
which sets the background to a dark gray.
