Description of issue
Sometime in the foreseeable future, mas will likely support bundle IDs as arguments in addition to app IDs.
I currently plan that both ID types will be able to be used in the same command line, with all-digit ID arguments taken as app IDs & all other ID arguments taken as bundle IDs (bundle IDs cannot start with a digit, so anything starting with a digit but including non-digits will result in an error).
mas will also be updated to accept multiple ID arguments per command for all commands that accept ID arguments, though I imagine that won't affect Home-brew.
Existing command lines will still work, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that people might expect to be able to use bundle IDs in mas statements in a
Brewfile
in the future (and to let you give feedback well in advance of me working on it).I'll post again here once I get around to working on this (probably sometime over the next 6 months).
