Make 'status bar item' error icon more noticeable or customisable

Problem

The status bar item's error indicator is too hard to see, so it's very easy to miss an alert.

Example

In this example, Prettier's own status bar implementation clearly indicates an error. Compare it to the status bar item: the icon difference is so small that it's effectively unnoticeable, so users will miss the prompt.

Suggestion

• Let the user/theme customise the colour when there's an error status (e.g. to red)
• Or otherwise make the error icon more noticeable

Benefits of change

• Users able to notice errors more easily
• Hopefully encourages more uptake of status bar icon/extension standardisation
• No longer need to use a magnifying glass to see it
