I came here to ask for an option to disable the tray icon as well.
It's also an unintuitive change that the "exit" option on the tray icon's right click menu closes PowerToys completely. I assumed it would just close the tray icon.

Description of the new feature / enhancement
In an effort to reduce the overall number of ST icons, I would like to be able to turn it off/on at will.
Scenario when this would be used?
Everyday work. If I want to open PowerToys, I simply click Start then search for the app.
I find this much faster than clicking Show hidden icons, right-clicking PT icon, then clicking Settings.
No doubt this is an edge use case, but I thought I would throw this out there to see if it stuck or whether anyone else has similar feelings.
