Current Behavior

  • Navigation in docs currently uses "You are here" text to indicate user's position
  • This text-based indicator takes up space and uses a traditional approach
  • Located in the documentation hierarchy navigation system

Expected Behavior

Proposed alternatives for modern UI navigation:

  1. > Current Section - Using a simple arrow/chevron indicator
  2. Active Page ● - Using a dot indicator with minimal text
  3. Visual highlighting with accent color (no text needed)
  • Should be more space-efficient
  • Should provide clear visual hierarchy
  • Should align with modern UI practices
