Hey! I love the idea of this project and I'd love to help it succeed. It seems like there's been a struggle to get these names out there because of merge conflicts etc.
I'm proposing a few things that I think could help if you're interested, and I'd be willing to try to submit a PR to help out (we'll likely all learn something in the process, definitely me included). I'm proposing that this repo restructure itself similar to the up-for-grabs repo:
Move this repo to generate a web page hosted via github pages. This way we can use a build process to spit out a nice looking list of speakers.
Speaker entries move to YML files within _data/speakers. This will allow folks to quickly & easily add their own speaker information without conflicts. (can also let us build a script to check each speaker file).
I'm thinking it could be a simple site at first that generates the table you're looking for.
Since this is a straightforward repo so far, I'm going to fork it and start making these changes. I'll add an in-progress PR. But by all means, if this isn't a way forward that interests you, let me know. 👍

Oops, I missed the work you were doing over on #78! Let me know if you're set on using hugo or if you'd like me to explore this route. For now I'll put the brakes on it.
