eza and long listing with symlinks, pointer not showing up

This could be because of my setup.

but with eza with colors and doing a long listing, my pointer doesn't show up.

I am using the kitty terminal emulator, and FiraCode Nerd Font Mono

If I do a /usr/bin/ls -l --color=always it shows up, but eza only has blank spaces.

Is there a way I can have that pointer show up?
