Code of conduct

Introduction

Welcome to our project! This code of conduct outlines our expectations for all participants to ensure a positive, inclusive, and productive environment.

Our standards

We pledge to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Expected behaviour

  • Be respectful: Treat everyone with respect. Be considerate of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Collaborate openly: Foster a collaborative environment where everyone can contribute and share ideas.
  • Provide constructive feedbacks: Offer feedback in a constructive and supportive manner.
  • Respect privacy: Respect the privacy and personal information of other participants.
  • Follow guidelines: Adhere to the project's guidelines, including those related to coding standards and best practices.

Unacceptable behaviour

  • Harassment: Any form of harassment, including but not limited to offensive comments, threats, or personal attacks.
  • Discrimination: Any discriminatory behaviour based on age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
  • Disruptive behaviour: Disruptive behaviour, including excessive trolling, spamming, or consistently interrupting discussions.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention: Unwelcome sexual attention, including inappropriate comments or advances.
  • Publishing private information: Sharing or threatening to share private information without explicit permission.

Scope

This code of conduct applies to all spaces managed by our community. This includes but is not limited to:

  • GitHub repositories
  • Issue trackers
  • Pull requests
  • Code reviews
  • Discussion forums
  • Social media channels
  • In-person events

Enforcement

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing this code of conduct. If you experience or witness any unacceptable behaviour, please report it to the community leaders immediately.

Consequences

Participants who violate this code of conduct may face temporary or permanent repercussions, including but not limited to:

  • Temporary ban from community spaces
  • Permanent ban from community spaces
  • Removal from project contributions
