To repro:

  1. Wait for the update prompt to appear ("There's a new version available! [Restart] [Later]")
  2. Click "Restart"

What happens:

The app quits.

What I expect to happen:

The app quits, then launches again.

@nornagon I ran into this problem this morning as well.

However, I noticed that the app actually started (small black dot in Dock) but immediately quit before the window loaded

For me, the update got applied properly & a restart for the electron fiddle did happen.
Platform: macOS Monterey
Version: 12.0.1
Fiddle version: 0.25.2

@nornagon Is this a valid issue anymore? Can you give more information on the platform and OS version?
