Basement Devs Book Club 📖

A reading group where community members come together to read and discuss books based on a theme or agreed upon reading list within the Basement Devs community.

This event focuses on practicing English by encouraging the reading of English books and discussing their topics at a weekly meeting.

Join the Book Club! 🚀

To be part of the Book Club, you must be a member of the Basement Devs community and join the book-club events.

Requirements 🤔

  • Be a member of the Basement Devs community
  • Availability of 1 hour per week to participate in Book Club voice meetings
  • Ability to asynchronously participate in interactions on the Book Club channel within the Basement Devs community

What you'll get 🎓

  • An active read group with people from different areas of technology and with different levels of English skills
  • Improve your reading and speaking skills participating on the Book Club weekly meetings on the Basement Devs community
  • Comfortable environment to share your thoughts and experiences with other people

Each book can take its own time to be finished depending on the content.

  • Expand your vocabulary in English;
  • Learn and contribute to discussions about the world of technology;
  • Being able to contribute to this repository of documentation about the meetings;
