Can not use with GCP artifact registry.

I'm trying to use github attestations to sign an image in a GCP repository and not in github packages, I'm able to authenticate to gcp and push to the repo, but the same workflow I get:
Error: No credentials found for registry

Does this action work with other registries and how can I use the oidc credentials already configured for google in a previous step in the workflow if supported?
