What's the issue you encountered?

I went to imhex.download, which is linked to from the README. I tried to find the download link on the page. Nothing appeared to be a link. I opened the dev tools console and saw that it says "Invalid nightly OS".

How can the issue be reproduced?

Visit the imhex.download site with a user agent that looks like: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/131.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

ImHex Version

N/A

ImHex Build Type

  • Nightly or built from sources

Installation type

N/A

Additional context?

Automatically detecting Apple Silicon vs. Intel for Mac can be a bit tricky. One way that works on Chrome is: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/NavigatorUAData/getHighEntropyValues - useragent strings won't work here because I have an M2 but my useragent string says "Intel Mac" which it most certainly is not.
