I would like all websites/web apps to respect my system date time formatting settings
viz. date format, 12 hours time, 24 hours time.
Use case:
Often times we are joining meetings that are cross timezones. and we see timings in 24 hours format by default. But what if user preferred time formatting is 12 hours.
This makes user do calculations in their mind just to make sure that they join on time.
Or they need to go into web app settings and change their preferred time formatting to 12 hours formatting (if the app supports that setting). But if I am using multiple calendar apps I will have to go in each app setting and change the setting inside there.
Instead can we please support this formatting via browsers so that developers will save on some coding.
