Prerequisites

  • I have written a descriptive issue title.
  • I have searched all issues/PRs to ensure it has not already been reported or fixed.
  • I have verified that I am using the latest version of Scoop and corresponding bucket.

Package Name

git

Expected/Current Behaviour

We are having an issue with git-bash which cannot run on Windows. My guess is that this is related to some policy added to windows, but turns out I may not be the only one, I saw something similar in git issues: git-for-windows/git#5135
I am not sure this is the proper place to report, but a standard git install works whereas the scoop one fails, which can be annoying

Steps to Reproduce

PS > scoop install git

Try to run git-bash

Possible Solution

No idea

Make sure the invoked bash command is really coming from the git package.
get-command bash
WSL could interfere or corporate security rules (ex: SentinelOne) sometimes
