How to run and support omnishrp-node-client for eclipse #309
Comments
The integration of Eclipse IDE with the language server protocol (supported by omnisharp-node-client) is available at https://github.com/eclipselabs/eclipse-language-service . It is still work in progress and will soon move to Eclipse.org but many things are already working well. However, on the other side, there are mutliple issues in Omnisharp-node-client implementation of LSP that make it not much usable with this integration. I'm not aware of any other integration for Eclipse IDE with OmniSharp nor language-server-protocol at the moment. |
See https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/acute-c-edition-eclipse-ide-experimental . It currently expects the user to have omnisharp-node-client installed locally and path set as environment variables. This should be improved in the next days with https://github.com/mickaelistria/aCute/issues/8 |
There are no more blocker for Eclipse IDE support. This issue can be closed and more specific questions about the integration should be addressed to https://github.com/mickaelistria/aCute/issues |
@david-driscoll I think you can close this issue. |
