Currently on the products site, when a request to Azure takes a long time, we do not cancel the request or show any kind of messaging. This would typically be when Azure goes down.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
Set network speed to slow (e.g. 2G)
Make a request/search, especially on the substance/product index pages
Observe no visual feedback about state of request
Expected behaviour
An error message is shown when the browser is unable to get a response from Azure/medicines API
