Unlike jest, which creates a global jest variable, there doesn't seem to be some kind of mocha equivalent. That makes detecting whether mocha is the current active framework a little difficult.

Amusingly, I'm now one of the new Mocha maintainers. Filing a reminder on myself to file an issue on the Mocha issue tracker in a couple of months (once we've had a chance to go through the issue backlog a bit). But, if someone else sees there's a way to resolve this in the interim, please do send a PR! Even if it's super hacky 😄
