Can't enable coin control features #1316
Comments
definitely sounds like a bug, will investigate |
Bummer. Thanks for looking into it. Blockstream Green is also supposed to have coin control but it seems to be non-existent in the latest version as well. Would you happen to know of any L-BTC wallet that has this capability? |
Blockstream Green has recently enabled coin control for Liquid. However, it is not possible to connect to your own node using Green, only to trusted Liquid-Electrum servers (you can't run your own). This is a huge bummer: you can't have coin control and use your own node anywhere on Liquid. It's one or the other. |
It is definitely nice to finally see coin control in Blockstream Green. I believe it is possible to connect it to your own Liquid-Electrum server but I couldn't find any guides to successfully setup Electrum for Liquid. I tried and with my limited knowledge, failed miserably. It would be nice to see more community guides involving Liquid. I'd really like to run my own Electrum and block explorer just like for Bitcoin. |
I'm currently running Elements Core v23.2.1 on a Windows 11 machine and it will not let me check the box to enable the coin control features. Is there something special I need to do to enable it?
