The worst thing you can do even at scale is get vendor locked. Then you’re screwed"

I'm not opposed to using Vercel; rather, I want to emphasize that we need to be very mindful of the possibilities, settings, and traffic. We can't just assume that everything "runs smoothly" with our applications on Vercel.
